About Us
The National Sports Organization of Georgia (NSO) is the national governing body established to promote the development of non-Olympic sports in Georgia and strengthen the country’s integration into the international sports community.
The Association brings together the Georgian national member federations affiliated with the International Federations that are members of the International World Games Association (IWGA). Our mission is to build a strong, professional, and coordinated national framework that enables Georgian non-Olympic sport to achieve sustainable international success.
The Association maintains close cooperation with the International World Games Association (IWGA). Within the framework of this partnership, the parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a solid institutional foundation for the greater involvement of Georgia, Georgian athletes, and national federations in The World Games movement.
Our Mission
Our mission is to unite, strengthen, and support Georgia’s non-Olympic sports federations by creating opportunities for Georgian athletes to qualify for international competitions, participate in The World Games and other elite international events, and proudly represent Georgia on the global sporting stage.
Our Vision
By 2029, the National Sports Organization of Georgia aims to become the country’s leading national platform for non-Olympic sports—recognized for its professionalism, strong governance, and international partnerships.
The Association will work openly and collaboratively with approximately 40 national federations, while directing enhanced strategic support and resources toward those sports in which Georgian athletes demonstrate the strongest potential to qualify for The World Games 2029.

Strategic Priorities (2026–2029)
